Birds and bird control has always been an issue for waste management companies, recycling depots, landfills or anywhere. Seagulls and pigeons are the main problem birds but other birds can be an issue as well. 13 metre hawk kites combinations are the main product choice as a solution, sometimes Helikites are used in conjunction with the Helikites. 13 metre versions are chosen over the 7 metre version because of the aluminium pole and extra height that is created. On the 13 metre version, the kite flies approximately 80 feet in the air. The higher the kite flies the more area the problem birds are deterred from.
